Hats are always a welcome gift. We have several around the Dancing Ewe Yarns and many are free patterns created by Janelle for the shop. The center beret above is knitted by Janelle with Cascade Lana D'Oro and Noro Silk Garden. What a great combination.The hat on the left is knitted by Cathy F. and is from the book "Luxury Yarn One-Skein Wonders". Cathy used Blue Sky Alpaca Melange yarn.
The right hat is Janelle's creation called Rudensk. It is named after the orphanage in Belarus that we knit and shipped many items to for the winter. $1 of the sale of this hat goes to the orphanage fund. She used Sublime Aran yarn to knit this one. I love the colors!
Berets are very popular and here is one also created by Janelle that is so lovely and feminine. Knitted with Blue Sky Alpaca Sport, the color is Petal Pink.And, below is a stocking hat knitted in Fair Isle by Janelle with Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift. What a great project to try Fair Isle.
Customer Earlene K. is a beginning knitter. This is her first project! It is the Susie's Purse pattern and is available at the shop. She used Cascade 220 in Chocolate Heather, Walnut Heather, and Summer Sky Heather. What a great color combination! Cascade 220 is a wonderful felting yarn as you can see.
