CATS & DOGS~And A Little More

Customer Joan C2 brought in her "Knittin' Kitten Mittens" to share with us the other day. They are from Ravelry's Cat Mittens pattern by Jorid Linvik.

Joan used Colinette Jitterbug and a black fingering weight yarn from her stash. Aren't they fun! My only regret is I didn't get a picture of the thumb. It has a fish skeleton knitted into it. How appropriate for those kitties!

Linda R. is knitting with Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock yarn. She is making the "Faceted Rib Socks" from Box of Socks. How colorful!
Cathy's Girasole Blanket is coming along nicely. Don't you just love the color. It is Cascade Pastaza #6003 Poppy. Can't wait to see it finished. This pattern is available on Ravelry and is a great pattern.
This week I found out that Girasole is Italian for sunflower. When you see it knitted in yellow it really does look like a knitted sunflower. How fun.

And, here is Bonnie. She came to visit the shop the other day and spent time with all of us. She is a Cairn Terrier and I hear is a great mouser. Go Bonnie!
