January will soon be here! This baby blanket is from Ann Norling #38 as is the white one below. I found this pink one, when folded crosswise,
makes a warm shawl. Ann Y. knit both of these blankets out of Cascade 220 Superwash.
Both would be great baby presents or good for winter lap robes.
Something else to keep warm is this rectangular shawl made with Sublime Kid Mohair. It took seven balls to make and the yarn is a mohair, nylon, merino blend. This will keep your shoulders nice and toasty.
The Textured Brim Hat is Janelle's newest free shop pattern creation. I love the textured brim. She used one ball of King George, a worsted weight baby alpaca, merino wool, cashmere blend. And, one ball of Yardley, a boucle yarn made of baby alpaca, silk and nylon. How soft! Both yarns are from Bristol Yarn Gallery. Look at all the colors too.
And, here was a gift from Ann Y. to the women who work at the shop, cute stocking earrings! Only two of us were here to open them but aren't they cute!
